There is a grid in my grandmother's heart (2019)
When my grandmother gifted my her own polaroidcamera, I became curious to see the pictures she had taken with it. The amount of photographs of her poodles where striking, though not surprising. My grandmother loved poodles, and by combining her pictures (color) with my own some 20 years later (black and white) taken with the same camera, I wanted to create a portrait of my grandmother and our relationship. There were six unexposed pictures left in the camera when I got it, on these I wrote my short reflections.
